Dinosaurs

A lot of people today think that dinosaurs and the Bible don’t mix. They believe that the Bible is a book of stories that were made up a long time ago, and that dinosaurs are a science that disproves the Bible. But this couldn’t be further from the truth! In fact, there are many references to dinosaurs in the Bible, and a close look at these verses reveals a lot about God and His creation.
  1. The Behemoth ( Job 40:15-24)

    • The Behemoth is a creature that is described in detail in the book of Job. This creature is so large and powerful that no one but God could subdue it. Some people believe that the Behemoth is a description of a hippopotamus or an elephant. But when you look at the description of the Behemoth in the Bible, it is clear that this is not what the Bible is talking about. The Behemoth is a creature with “large bones” and “powerful muscles”. It has a tail that is so large and strong that it could easily swat away an army. This creature is clearly a dinosaur!
  2. The Leviathan ( Job 41:1-34)

    • The Leviathan is another creature that is described in detail in the book of Job. This creature is so large and powerful that no one but God could subdue it. Some people believe that the Leviathan is a description of a crocodile or a whale. But when you look at the description of the Leviathan in the Bible, it is clear that this is not what the Bible is talking about. The Leviathan is a creature with “large bones” and “powerful muscles”. It has a tail that is so large and strong that it could easily swat away an army. This creature is clearly a dinosaur!
These are just a few of the many references to dinosaurs in the Bible. When you look at these verses, it is clear that the Bible is not a book of myths and legends. The Bible is a book of history, and it tells the true story of God and His creation.
